Stars for Malik
The stars above begin to bloom,
They light the nursery, chase the gloom,
Malik sleeps so warm and tight,
Wrapped in the hush of silver light.
A crescent moon begins to rise,
A gentle curve of lullabies,
It peeks in through the window pane,
To watch Malik dream without a strain.
The tiny stars blink soft and low,
They guard the world Malik will know,
Each ray of glow will hum along,
A tender and timeless song.
