Malachi's Starlight Lullaby
Malachi baby, small and bright,
A little star born in the night,
The moon leans down to kiss your cheek,
So soft and warm, so mild and meek.
The twinkling lights above you play,
And watch you resting through the day,
They paint the dark with silver beams,
While you have softly whispered dreams.
A glowing guardian, pale and deep,
The moon will sing while angels keep
Their watch upon your cradle small—
My star, my own, my Malachi, all.
