Twinkling Night Lullaby
Soft gold beams across the sky, they gently sway and sigh,
Whispers of the moonlight sigh, a silver song for Autumn nigh,
The twinkling stars begin to gleam, a calm and bright, unhurried stream,
Night’s soft curtain folds us tight, in tender glow we dream.
Little eyes look up in awe, where sparkling diamonds draw,
Heaven's glitter warm and pure, sings a hush that will endure,
Each bright star a tiny kiss, shining down with quiet bliss,
Guiding Autumn’s heart to rest, in the night’s soft, glowing nest.
Moonbeams dance on silver seas, painting lullabies with ease,
Dreams alight on feathered sighs, as sleepy breezes softly rise,
The sky’s great quilt of twinkling light, wraps the world in gentle night,
All the stars keep watch above, cradling Autumn with their love.
