A free, original lullaby written just for the name Zoey — ready to read tonight or turn into a keepsake poster.
Little Zoey, soft and small,
Twinkling brighter than them all,
Moonbeam cradles, silver light,
Glowing gently through the night.
Velvet sky of deepened blue,
Painted just for Zoey, you,
Whispered breezes, cool and kind,
Leave all the worries far behind.
Every star a tiny wish,
Resting on Zoey's cradle dish,
Guardians of the cosmic sea,
Keeping precious Zoey free.

Origin — Greek
A modern English spelling of Zoe, from the Greek zōē, “life”.
We follow the standard reference works on given names, and we say so plainly when a meaning is unsettled rather than choosing the prettiest one.
Every BabyVerse verse is built around one name and its sound, so Zoey hears their own name carried through the meter rather than dropped into a blank. That is the whole difference between a keepsake and a personalised product: the words could not be reused for another child.
Parents read it at bedtime. Grandparents and godparents frame it. Either way it is the one gift on the table that no one else can duplicate — which is why it tends to outlast everything else in the pile.
