Tucker's Silver Sky
The twilight hums a lullaby so deep,
While fireflies their tiny lanterns keep;
Little Tucker, see the moonlight creep
Across your room in ribbons soft as sleep.
A silver star on every window ledge,
To guard the crib where small dreams softly edge;
The night sky wears a velvet cloak, its pledge
To tuck the world in warmth from edge to edge.
The constellations glow for you, so bright,
They stitch the dark with threads of gentle light;
Tucker, rest beneath their golden sight,
Goodnight, goodnight, goodnight.
