A free, original lullaby written just for the name Leo — ready to read tonight or turn into a keepsake poster.
Little Leo, soft and small,
The moon hangs bright above us all,
A silver glow so tender and true,
Painted just for me and you.
Stars are winking, one by one,
Dancing gently, having fun,
Leo yawns and blinks his eyes,
Underneath the velvet skies.
Golden light begins to creep,
Rocking Leo into sleep,
Every star a lullaby,
Singing Leo's dreams on high.

Origin — Latin
From the Latin leo, “lion”. Thirteen popes have borne it.
We follow the standard reference works on given names, and we say so plainly when a meaning is unsettled rather than choosing the prettiest one.
Every BabyVerse verse is built around one name and its sound, so Leo hears their own name carried through the meter rather than dropped into a blank. That is the whole difference between a keepsake and a personalised product: the words could not be reused for another child.
Parents read it at bedtime. Grandparents and godparents frame it. Either way it is the one gift on the table that no one else can duplicate — which is why it tends to outlast everything else in the pile.
