A free, original lullaby written just for the name Hudson — ready to read tonight or turn into a keepsake poster.
Little Hudson, soft and small,
Stars are twinkling, one and all.
Silver moon is rising high,
Painting diamonds on the sky.
Glow-worm winks a gentle light,
Hudson sleeps so safe tonight.
Cradled where the star-beams play,
Chasing all the dark away.
Baby Hudson, rest your head,
Starlight keeps you near your bed.
Heaven holds a candle bright,
Just to bless you through the night.

Origin — English
A surname meaning “son of Hudde”, a medieval pet form of Hugh.
We follow the standard reference works on given names, and we say so plainly when a meaning is unsettled rather than choosing the prettiest one.
Every BabyVerse verse is built around one name and its sound, so Hudson hears their own name carried through the meter rather than dropped into a blank. That is the whole difference between a keepsake and a personalised product: the words could not be reused for another child.
Parents read it at bedtime. Grandparents and godparents frame it. Either way it is the one gift on the table that no one else can duplicate — which is why it tends to outlast everything else in the pile.
