The moon is a pearl in the velvet sky,
The stars are diamonds twinkling high,
Little Hailey, so tiny and new,
The whole universe smiles just for you.
A silver glow on your window pane,
A soft and sweet and gentle rain,
Of starlight falling, soft and slow,
To watch little Hailey as you grow.
The night is a blanket, deep and blue,
With a shimmering, silvery hue,
Rest now, Hailey, in your cozy bed,
With a crown of starlight on your head.
