A Nursery Rhyme for Aaron

A free, original lullaby written just for the name Aaron — ready to read tonight or turn into a keepsake poster.

Aaron's Starry Night

The silver moon is shining bright,

And fills your room with gentle light,

The little stars begin to peep,

To watch you as you fall asleep.

They twinkle high above the trees,

And dance upon the evening breeze,

A glowing light up in the sky,

For little Aaron passing by.

The moon will keep you safe and warm,

And shield you safely from all harm,

The starlight hums a quiet tune,

Beneath the silver of the moon.

What does the name Aaron mean?

Origin — Uncertain, possibly Egyptian

The Hebrew Aharon, the name of Moses’ brother.

Where sources disagree: The meaning is not known. Because Moses’ own name is Egyptian, Aaron is often assumed to be as well. Glosses such as “mountain of strength” are later attempts to read it as Hebrew.

We follow the standard reference works on given names, and we say so plainly when a meaning is unsettled rather than choosing the prettiest one.

A rhyme written around Aaron

Every BabyVerse verse is built around one name and its sound, so Aaron hears their own name carried through the meter rather than dropped into a blank. That is the whole difference between a keepsake and a personalised product: the words could not be reused for another child.

Parents read it at bedtime. Grandparents and godparents frame it. Either way it is the one gift on the table that no one else can duplicate — which is why it tends to outlast everything else in the pile.
